Oh papa forgive Merleau Ponty for he did not know what he was doing

Much metaepistemological speculation about the juncture when the “body” became the locus of cultural anthropological studies at the expense of the researched to death cogito. Merleau Ponty and his seminal works the Phenomenology of perception and the Visible and the Invisible seem to be the groundbreaking works that enabled this turn (just like Descartes’ literary tropes and aporetic discourse gave rise to the omniscient substratum of Cogito).  As normally happens with every perspective, it may be appropriated for various reasons by interest groups and politicized to ever multiplying ends. Just imagine what would happen if only these works were appropriated by a totalitarian world disorder, spiced up with paralinguistic epiphenomenology. Try quantifying chiasmus.
Now, unless this metaphor dies , it cannot circulate in the socius . In fact, its perlocutionary force rests with its enshrinement , just like Plenitude
